This is a pure malt blended whisky by Chichibu Distillery. Blended the Chichibu whisky with Distillery's remaining stock of Hanyu whisky, then using Franch wine cask for maturation.

Red wine casks from all over the world are used for finishing variety of malt whisky, which are matured in a warehouse at the Chichibu distillery. Under the environment of drastic changes in temperature helps the maturation and gives deep complexity in the flavor. A pleasant tannin and good sourness coming from the wine casks are lingering in a mouth for long time.
